🧞‍♂️ Senior Full Stack Developer - MERN
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience in Python to build scalable, high-performance backend systems for Israeli deep tech startups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building machine learning backends for AI applications, fullstack applications, developing APIs with FastAPI, integrating message queues, and implementing components essential for high-performance AI systems, such as asynchronous processing and automation platforms, in industries like AI/machine learning, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or entertainment, where Python excels in data-intensive and scalable environments. Excellent communication skills, the ability to translate business objectives into technical tasks, and a strong aptitude for remote work are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- 01Develop full-stack applications using MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) with React and Next.js for optimized, scalable front-end solutions.
- 02Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate and leverage AI technologies (e.g., LLM, computer vision, ML) into applications.
- 03Translate business objectives into actionable development tasks with cross-functional teams.
- 04Build scalable, secure APIs and dynamic front-end components.
- 05Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and scalability using Next.js.
- 06Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- 07Communicate effectively with remote teams.
- 08(Bonus) Use Go for high-performance backend services, if applicable.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years with MERN stack, including strong expertise in React and Next.js, and a proven record of working efficiently with AI technologies (e.g., integrating LLMs, ML models, or computer vision).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, Next.js, RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git. Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and testing frameworks a plus. Go experience is a bonus.
- Skills: Proven ability to break down business objectives into tasks; excellent English communication; self-motivated for remote work.
