🏌 Senior Backend Developer - Go

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience in Python, Go, or Node.js to develop robust, scalable backend systems for Israeli deep tech startups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building APIs, integrating AI technologies (e.g., LLMs), and working with automation platforms. Excellent communication skills, the ability to translate business objectives into technical tasks, and a strong aptitude for remote work are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 01Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, Go, or Node.js, focusing on APIs, microservices, and automation workflows.
  • 02Integrate open-source LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral) and AI-driven tools into backend systems to support automation and deep tech applications.
  • 03Collaborate with AI engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
  • 04Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks and system designs.
  • 05Build secure, efficient, and scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • 06Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • 07Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews.
  • 08Communicate effectively with remote teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • 09Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of backend development experience with Python, Go, or Node.js, including a proven record of building APIs and integrating AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, ML models).
  • Proven ability to break down business objectives into technical tasks, excellent English communication, and self-motivation for remote work.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency building software with LLM
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Git.
  • Bonus - Knowledge of automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make) or AI integration is a plus.
